Chelsea essentially have to pay £74m if Poch wants to sign ‘unstoppable’ striker Dusan Vlahovic

Juventus are demanding that Chelsea pay a minimum of €40 million (£34 million) plus Romelu Lukaku if they want to sign Dusan Vlahovic this summer.

According to a report from TuttoMercatoWeb, Juventus are not prepared to budge on their demands for the 23-year-old Chelsea target.

Blues boss Mauricio Pochettino clearly needs to sign a world-class striker, if he is to guide his side to a successful new era.

Chelsea have so many brilliantly talented footballers, but not one of them is capable of scoring goals consistently. Perhaps Vlahovic is the answer to that problem.

The Serbia international certainly won’t come cheap though…

TMW are claiming that Juventus are not prepared to lower their demands for Vlahovic – It’s £34 million plus Lukaku or nothing at all.

The Guardian claimed earlier this summer that the Blues want around £40 million for the 30-year-old striker this summer.

So with that in mind, the total package for Vlahovic would be around £74 million.

Described by AS as an ‘unstoppable’ striker, the 23-year-old Serbian certainly has everything needed to go on and become one of the very best players in world football.

He has struggled at times with Juventus, but has all of the attributes needed to really succeed at Chelsea. Vlahovic is strong as an ox, has decent pace, is really good in the air and is a lethal finisher. He just needs to start playing with a bit more confidence.

Maybe that will come at Stamford Bridge. Whether Chelsea are prepared to meet Juve’s demands for Dusan Vlahovic remains to be seen though.
