Tottenham are trying to sign Fulham defender Tosin Adarabioyo this summer, with Eric Dier potentially moving in the opposite direction.
According to football journalist Fabrice Hawkins, the 25-year-old actually wants to sign for Monaco this summer but Fulham boss Marco Silva is pushing him towards Tottenham so that his chances of signing Eric Dier increase.
Ange Postecoglou definitely needs to strengthen his central defensive ranks at Spurs in the summer transfer window.
He needs more quality cover and competition for Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven. Dier is clearly not good enough any more.
So moving him on to Fulham whilst bringing in Adarabioyo would be the ideal scenario for Ange…

Fabrice Hawkins reckons that Fulham boss Marco Silva is really trying to force the former Manchester City man into a move to north London rather than Monaco.
Hawkins tweeted:

It will obviously come down to which club Tosin Adarabioyo wants to join in the end, and if he has his heart set on Monaco rather than Tottenham, Spurs will have no chance.
However, if he can be convinced that Tottenham is in fact the better move for him, he would undoubtedly be a very useful addition to Ange’s ranks.
Whatever happens between now and the end of the transfer window, Spurs desperately need to bring in a top-class central defender. Whether that ends up being the Fulham man or not remains to be seen though.
