Aston Villa are ramping up their interest in signing Nicolo Zaniolo from Galatasaray this summer.
According to a report from CalcioMercato.it, Villa have now entered talks to sign the 24-year-old attacking midfielder.
In fact, it is claimed that Aston Villa will pay Zaniolo £58k-a-week to move to Villa Park in the summer transfer window.
Villa have apparently already made an offer in excess of £26 million for the ex-Roma ace.
Unai Emery has made some great signings already this summer, but the addition of an attacking midfield powerhouse would take his side to a whole new level.
And it seems as though the Villa boss is close to signing someone who will be absolutely perfect for his playing style…
Emery tries to tempt ‘extraordinary’ Nicolo Zaniolo to join Aston Villa with £58k-a-week deal
Calciomercato are claiming that Villa are prepared to pay the 24-year-old €3.5 million (£3 million) per year. That equates to £58k-a-week.
Italy boss Roberto Mancini once described the Galatasaray ace as an ‘extraordinary’ player (Goal).
Zaniolo has absolutely everything needed to succeed in the Premier League.
Standing at 6ft 3in tall, he possesses an imposing physique. Not only is he technically brilliant but he can mix it up physically as well.
The Italian has bagged five goals and one assist in 12 games for the Turkish giants since joining them from Roma in February.
He’s easily good enough to be paying Premier League football, and a move to Aston Villa could be just what he needs in order to spark his career into life.
