Report: Klopp has taken the bull by the horns in race to sign ‘world class’ €30m midfielder

Stats that show Man United are right to pursue Sofyan Amrabat

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has made direct contact with Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat.

According to La Repubblica, the Liverpool manager personally phoned the 26-year-old midfielder on Tuesday to try and convince him to move to Anfield.

Fiorentina allegedly want €30 million for the Morocco international this summer. Liverpool are believed to be battling Manchester United for Amrabat’s signature.

The opportunity to sign the tenacious tackling midfielder for just €30 million is one that the Reds cannot afford to miss out on.

And it seems as though Klopp is doing absolutely everything he can to ensure that he doesn’t miss out on yet another central midfield target…

La Repubblica are claiming that the Liverpool manager has contacted Amrabat via the telephone in order to try and tempt him into a move to Merseyside in the summer transfer window.

The 26-year-old would be a stunning addition to the German’s ranks at Anfield, there is no debating that fact.

He has been described as ‘world-class’ by Morocco coach Walid Regragui (Fabrizio Romano). Amrabat is incredibly athletic, energetic and dynamic. He has the physical attributes to cope with the intense nature of Premier League football.

You won’t find a better value for money signing in the transfer market this summer than Sofyan Amrabat as far as I’m concerned.

However, Liverpool are expected to announce the signing of Wataru Endo today. So it remains to be seen as to whether Klopp wants to add yet another midfielder to his ranks in the form of the Fiorentina star.
