Tottenham Hotspur have announced that English right-back Djed Spence has joined Championship club Leeds United on a season-long loan.
The 23-year-old joined Spurs from Middlesbrough in 2022 but made six appearances across all competitions last term before moving to Ligue 1 club Rennes on loan for the second half of the season, making ten appearances.
Spence will now reunite with Joe Rodon at Leeds after his fellow Tottenham teammate moved to the Elland Road club earlier this summer.
Djed Spence has joined Leeds United on loan for the remainder of the 2023/24 season.
Good luck, Djed! 👊

The England youth international has taken to Instagram to announce his loan move, and Eric Dier and some other players have reacted.
The England international is also out of favour under Spurs manager Ange Postecoglou and has been excluded from all of the matchday squads this season.
The 29-year-old has been linked with the likes of Bayern Munich and Fulham as Tottenham are desperate to get him out before the transfer window shuts on Friday night.
Dier is in the last 12 months of his contract at the North London club, and they could be forced to terminate his contract if he still remains at the club after the summer transfer window.
He joined Tottenham from Sporting Lisbon in 2014 and has made 361 appearances for the club so far.
As well as Dier, Spurs are also looking to move on Sergio Reguilon, Davinson Sanchez, Tanguy Ndombele and Giovani Lo Celso before the transfer window closes.
They have started the new Premier League campaign with two wins and a draw in three games but were dumped out of the second round of the Carabao Cup last night after losing to Fulham on penalties following a 1-1 draw.
Tottenham have signed five players so far this summer and are still hoping to make a few additions to their attack before the transfer deadline, while more departures are expected to take place in the coming hours.
