Arsenal get back to winning ways after beating Sevilla 2-1 in the Champions League Group B game at the Ramon Sanchez-Quijan stadium on Tuesday night (24 October).
Gabriel Jesus scored one and grabbed an assist as they picked up a crucial win against the seven-time Europa League winners. The Gunners lost 2-1 against Lens in their previous Champions League game, but this victory will boost their confidence.
On a rain-soaked night in Spain, the away fans showed their full support to the team as they stayed until late night in the stands. Football London journalist Kaya Kaynak shared the footage on Twitter where Arsenal fans were seen celebrating in the stands long after the final whistle.
“Arsenal fans staying long into the night here at the Ramon Sanchez-Quijan stadium where it’s still raining and cheering the subs as they do their cool down,” he wrote.

Big win
Gabriel Martinelli marked his Champions League debut with a goal in first-half stoppage time. Jesus then increased Arsenal’s lead early in the second half with a superb finish. Nemanja Gudelj headed in from a set-piece in the 58th minute for the home side.
They had to withstand some pressure as the hosts tried to find an equalizer and David Raya was called upon to make some strong saves.
The Gunners then suffered a massive blow as Jesus went off with a suspected hamstring injury. According to the Daily Mail, the Brazilian striker will undergo a scan in the coming days, but he is quite confident that the injury is not serious.
With this victory, the Gunners have moved to the top of their group in the Champions League. They host Sheffield United in the Premier League on Saturday, followed by a League Cup trip to West Ham four days later.
