Manchester United predicted starting line-up v Brentford

Manchester United will be looking to bounce back to winning ways when they take on Brentford in the Premier League on Saturday at Old Trafford.

After consecutive defeats against Crystal Palace and Galatasaray, the Red Devils are in the doldrums and the pressure on Erik ten Hag is mounting.

Rasmus Hojlund scored a brace in the last game, but it wasn’t enough to earn them a victory in Europe. Brentford have been really poor this season, with Thomas Frank’s side sitting just three points above the relegation zone.

The Bees have won just one league game all season, but they are capable of causing an upset.

Andre Onana has come under criticism recently for his inconsistent performances, but Ten Hag seems to have a lot of faith in the former Inter Milan goalkeeper.

His poor pass to Dries Mertens in midweek resulted in a penalty for Gala, where Casemiro was shown a red card. However, he is eligible to play on Saturday.

Sergio Reguilon missed the Champions League defeat against Galatasaray with a tight hamstring.

He may have a slim chance to feature in this game, although Ten Hag is likely to continue with summer signing Sofyan Amrabat who struggled in the previous game.

Lisandro Martinez is out for the foreseeable future while Amad Diallo, Luke Shaw, Tyrell Malacia and Aaron Wan-Bissaka are also injured.

Victor Lindelof has been unconvincing at the back, and Ten Hag could bring Jonny Evans into the starting line-up.

Jadon Sancho is still frozen out by Ten Hag, and he remains out of the picture. Antony came off the bench against Gala and will likely replace Hannibal Mejbri in the starting line-up.

Man Utd predicted starting line-up v Brentford: Onana; Dalot, Varane, Evans, Amrabat; Casemiro, Mount; Antony, Fernandes, Rashford; Hojlund.
