Arsenal will face Sevilla in their next Champions League game on Wednesday (8 November) at the Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners defeated Sevilla 2-1 back in October in Spain and Mikel Arteta will be expecting a similar result.
Arteta has confirmed ahead of the game that Gabriel Jesus will not be fit to play. The 26-year-old striker has picked up a thigh injury and Arteta said previously that he will not put any time scale as to when he can return.
The Gunners boss is also not sure if Martin Odegaard will be available for this game as well. Odegaard has been nursing a groin injury and missed the last Premier League game against Newcastle United. It appears that he will miss the Champions League clash yet again.

Big game
The Gunners are heading into this game on the back of two defeats in a row, and Arteta’s first task will be to avoid another defeat.
Arsenal lost 3-1 against West Ham in the Carabao Cup at the London Stadium. While they probably won’t mind losing the cup game as it may not be their priority, the 1-0 defeat against Newcastle have hurt them badly.
It was the first defeat in the Premier League for the Gunners this season, and Arteta was furious after the game. He strongly criticised VAR and the referees after the game and branded it as an “absolute disgrace”.
Eddie Nketiah is more than capable of leading the line while the Gunners have enough firepower in their attacking midfield to cope with Odegaard’s absence as well.
