Sean Dyche shares Everton injury update ahead of Crystal Palace clash

Everton will travel to Selhurst Park to face Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Saturday (11 November).

Ahead of the match, Sean Dyche has suggested that he hopes to get most of his key players back for this game.

Amadou Onana, who missed the 1-1 draw at home to Brighton & Hove Albion last Saturday with a calf injury, is expected to return. The 22-year-old midfielder has been training this week, but the club will continue to monitor his condition ahead of the game.

“I think he should be. Like I say they’ve been on the grass and we’ll see how that reacts tomorrow but he’s managed that well,” said Dyche, as quoted by Liverpool Echo.

Jarrad Brathwaite picked up a knock but he is expected to shake it off. Abdoulaye Doucoure struggled with sickness but he has also returned to training. Seamus Coleman is now fully fit but Dyche will look to integrate him gradually.

He added: “There are a couple of knocks with Amadou and Jarrad [Branthwaite] has got a bit of a knock but we’re not expecting too much trouble. Doucs [Abdoulaye Doucoure] had a bit of sickness but they’ve all been on the grass today so we’re hopeful on them.”

Major boost

The return of Onana will come as a huge boost for the Toffees who will be aiming to maintain their impressive recent form.

The Belgian midfielder has made 10 starts in the Premier League, and he is vital to how the Toffees play.

The Toffees are unbeaten in their last three games in all competitions and they are playing with confidence, especially away from home.

Palace returned to winning ways after back-to-back defeats. They won 2-0 against Burnley last week and will hope to secure another win at Selhurst Park.
