Crystal Palace keep close tabs on Largie Ramazani

Crystal Palace are closely monitoring the development of Almeria winger, Largie Ramazani over a possible transfer, according to a report from Footmercato

The Belgium u21 International has caught the eye with his performances for Gaizka Garitano’s side this season, recording nine goal contributions in 20 matches across all competitions for Rojiblancos this season.

The former Manchester United academy youngster is also a subject of interest from Ligue 1 side, Olympique Lyon who are keen on his signature, to improve their League position after the festive break.

The Eagles are closely following Ramazani’s development this season as they aim to reinforce their squad ahead of the January transfer window.

Ramazani’s contract at The Power Horse Stadium runs until June 2025 and Footmercato reports that the 22-year-old is valued at £8.7m.

Having won just four matches this season, Crystal Palace currently occupy 15th place in the Premier League standings with 18 points. Although commendable points were gathered such as the victory over Manchester United and ravaging from two goals down to draw 2-2 against City, Roy Hodgson’s side are still far from impressive as they often defend for large spells of the game.

Following the full return of attacking duo, Eberechi Eze and Michael Olise, Palace have significantly improved in their attacking output, scoring in the fixtures against Liverpool, City, and Chelsea.

Ramazani showcases remarkable skill in smoothly navigating past defenders, with his speed and agility making him a constant threat on the left flank.

His qualities are reminiscent of former Palace winger, Wilfred Zaha and his addition will add quality up front for Roy Hodgson’s side as they aim to avoid the drop zone this season.
