Tottenham hero Hugo Lloris is reportedly looking to leave the club in the January transfer window, and his exit could be sealed very shortly.
According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, MLS club Los Angeles FC are confident of getting a deal done for the French goalkeeper.
Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou has also hinted that Lloris is likely to leave in the next few days. The club have given the “green light” for the transfer to go ahead.
Lloris has spent his best years at Spurs, and it looks like he will end his 11-and-a-half-year stay with the north London club by securing a free transfer move.
He has been the captain of the side for eight years before this season, and he will go down as one of the most decorated players in the club’s history.

Great servant
Lloris has been a tremendous servant for the club, and he deserves a proper farewell.
He has made 447 appearances in all competitions for the club and has produced some stellar performances for both club and country. His only regret, probably, will remain that he failed to win a trophy at Spurs during his time.
The Guardian reported that negotiation between the two clubs is at final stages which means Lloris is more likely to get his move at the start of the January transfer window, and the deal is close to being confirmed.
He has a contract at the club until 2024, but he will leave as a free agent. He joined Spurs for £11m from Lyon in 2012 and turned down moves to Lazio, Nice and clubs in Saudi Arabia during the summer transfer window.
