Celtic are looking to add one at least one more player to their ranks before the end of the transfer window and they have earmarked Paris Saint-Germain defender Layvin Kurzawa as a potential option.
According to a report from the Daily Mail, the French left-back has emerged as a possible option for the Hoops as they are looking to make one more addition on the deadline day.
Although this has been a frustrating window for the Bhoys fans, Celtic can still end it with one or two good signings. Rodgers has got his wish in Adam Odah, on loan from Norwich, and he is now looking to bolster the defence.
With time running out, it will be interesting to see if Celtic can strike a deal for Kurzawa who has made over 150 appearances for PSG across eight seasons. The Frenchman is a vastly experienced defender and he still has plenty of football left in him.

Celtic attempted to sign Hugo Bueno from Wolves, but they were knocked back in their approach. Kurzawa has badly struggled for games this season, managing just one appearance thus far. Clearly, he has become surplus to requirements, and his agents have made Celtic aware of his availability.
The defender also enjoyed a successful spell with Monaco, where he managed 97 appearances.
Greg Taylor is out injured and Rodgers does not have enough cover at the back. At the moment, Alexandro Bernabei remains the only senior option, and therefore there is a need to sign an experienced defender.
Kurzawa could be looking for new adventures after a disappointing campaign so far. However, he hasn’t played enough this season, and may need some time to adjust to the pace of the league.
Meanwhile, Celtic could look to offload David Turnbull permanently to Cardiff City. Turnbull has been a key player for the club, but he has struggled for regular games this season, managing only nine starts. His contract expires at the end of the season, and Celtic are in talks with Cardiff City over a potential departure before tomorrow’s deadline.
