Tottenham defender Eric Dier is one step away from joining Bayern Munich, according to Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg.
The 29-year-old senior player has arrived in Munich to complete his medical, and Plettenberg says it’s a “done deal”.
Fabrizio Romano also adds that Dier will join Bayern for a fee close to €4m. As it stands, personal terms are agreed, and Thomas Tuchel personally called the player and convinced him to make the move.
Tottenham have already agreed a deal for Radu Dragusin and he has completed his medical as well. Once that deal was confirmed, Spurs allowed Dier to leave the club. Djede Spence also moved out on loan to Genoa as a part of the deal for Dragusin.
In a separate post, footage has emerged where Dier was seen arriving in Munich for his medical.

Reunited with Kane
Dier has been at Spurs for ten long years, and he has made over 360 appearances for the club in all competitions. Tuchel was full of praise for him, saying Dier is a specialist centre-back who can also play in midfield if needed.
The England international failed to make an impact under Ange Postecoglou and it became clear that he would be sold at some point. Dier has struggled to get regular games under Postecoglou this season, and a move away from the club was necessary for him.
He will be united with his former Tottenham teammate, Harry Kane who is enjoying a superb season with Bayern Munich at the moment.
Spurs have signed Timo Werner who has joined from RB Leipzig on loan. They are also looking to sign a midfielder and have earmarked Conor Gallagher as a potential option.
