Fulham are optimistic of signing Fluminense midfielder Andre in the January transfer window, according to transfer expert Ben Jacobs.
The Cottagers have been linked with a move for the Brazilian midfielder over the past few months, and it looks like they have a chance of getting the deal done.
The 22-year-old midfielder is keen to move to the Premier League and he has already verbally agreed terms.
Jacobs says that Fulham CEO Alistair Mackintosh has held face-to-face talks in November and they have been encouraged to make the move in January.
Fluminense are demanding a fee in the region of £30m and they are resigned to losing Andre in the January window.

Palhinha to leave?
Andre has expressed his desire to play in the Premier League and it is upto Fulham now to reach an agreement for the midfielder.
Fulham are sitting comfortably in mid-table, and Marco Silva will be looking to add a few players to their ranks. They have done really well under him, but have beaten Arsenal 2-1 in their last game.
Andre has established himself as a quality central midfielder in Brazil and he could be a cracking addition to the side.
In all probability, if Andre arrives in January, it could seal the exit of Joao Palhinha. The Portuguese midfielder was close to joining Bayern Munich in the summer transfer window, but the move didn’t happen.
Jacobs says that Fulham expect Bayern to rekindle their interest in signing Palhinha in January, although the German giants are yet to make a move. Arsenal are also in the mix but doubts remain whether they would be willing to match Fulham’s asking price.
