Celtic defender Gustaf Lagerbielke is drawing attention from Italian club Lecce in the January transfer window.
According to Sky Sports journalist, Anthony Joseph, Lecce want to sign the 23-year-old centre-back on loan for the rest of the season.
Lagerbielke is on £14k-per-week deal at Celtic Park, and the Bhoys would have to pay a large proportion of his wages for the move to go through.
However, the Italian club is “trying to work on a deal” to sign the Swedish defender and it will be interesting to see if Celtic agree to their proposal.
He has barely played for the Hoops this season but has impressed at times. He has managed four starts in the Scottish Premiership this season, and a further two appearances have come from the bench.
UPDATE: Lecce still want Celtic defender Gustaf Lagerbielke on loan before the window closes.@SkySport understands they’re still trying to work on a deal for the Swedish centre-back.

Quiet window
It doesn’t look like Celtic will look to bring in more players in the final few days of the window, but then again, anything can happen. The Bhoys have signed only one player this month, and it remains to be seen if they can sign one striker.
There have been interest from top clubs in some of the key players from Celtic, but the club did alright to keep them.
Matt O’Riley, for instance, was targeted by Atletico Madrid, but Celtic rejected a loan bid from them. The club also managed to keep hold of Cameron Carter Vickers as well.
Lagerbielke has really struggled for regular game time this season under Rodgers, but he may not be offloaded this month after Nat Phillips returned to Liverpool from his loan spell.
