Liverpool fans produce special rendition for Jurgen Klopp

Liverpool fans produced a “special” rendition for Jurgen Klopp as they won 5-2 against Norwich City in the FA Cup clash on Sunday (28 January).

Klopp confirmed earlier this week that he will leave the club at the end of the season after nine years of service. It came as a bit of shock to all Liverpool fans and players, but everyone has respected his decision.

The Reds boss was given a rousing reception by the home supporters before kick-off, and after the game they produced another “huge” rendition, as shared by journalist Ian Doyle.

Goals from Curtis Jones, Diogo Jota, Darwin Nunez, Virgil van Dijk, and Ryan Gravenberch scored for the Reds moved to the fifth round of the competition.

The only sour note in this game was the injury to James McConnell who was replaced by Luiz Diaz towards the end of the game.

Big shock

The news has indeed come as a massive shock to the Liverpool fan base, as Klopp has been integral to Liverpool’s success over the years.

He has rebuilt the club, step by step, and it’s unthinkable that he won’t be there in the dugout anymore. He has given some wonderful memories to Liverpool fans over the years and guided them to one Champions League and one Premier League title.

However, he feels that it is the right time for him to move on, as he thinks he has no energy left in him to carry on.

His shock announcement could galvanize the team as they push for a historic quadruple. Liverpool are in the final of the Carabao Cup, and they are top of the Premier League table as well.

They are progressing smoothly in the FA Cup and they are in the knock-out phases of the Europa League as well.
