Tottenham are close to securing the second major signing of the January window as Radu Dragusin is on his way to joining them, as per journalist Florian Plettenberg.
Spurs agreed a deal for Dragusin on Tuesday but the move looked in jeopardy after Bayern Munich attempted to hijack the deal with a better bonus offer.
However, the 21-year-old defender always wanted to join Spurs, and he has decided to move to north London instead.
Plettenberg adds that a medical has been scheduled today as the player is expected to fly to London on Wednesday to complete the move.
It means that Bayern have failed to hijack the deal which goes to show that Spurs have done really well to convince the player about the move.

Huge coup
Dragusin will become the second signing of the January transfer window for Spurs after they confirmed the signing of Timo Werner on loan from RB Leipzig.
The Romanian defender has established himself as a key player for Genoa this season, and he was chased by a host of big clubs.
Fans feared the worst when news broke out that Bayern had joined the race to secure his signature. The German giants can offer him Champions League football, which could have been a huge incentive for the young defender to opt for a move to the Bundesliga.
However, he has decided to play in the Premier League and Spurs will get their man. Hopefully, the deal can be sorted out within the next couple of days.
Gianluca Di Marzio claims that the details of the deal will be sorted out by today. With an almost equal offer presented by both sides, the decision was entirely upon Dragusin, and Genoa are now expected to proceed in order to find the final agreement.
