Tottenham Hotspur are considering a late move for Bournemouth forward Dominic Solanke, as per The Sun.
Spurs have been surging upfront this season, emerging as the third-highest-scoring team in the Premier League with 44 goals, highlighting their goalscoring prowess under Ange Postecoglou.
The north London club are not looking to relent effort in the attacking department as they have already completed the acquisition of Timo Werner on loan from Bundesliga side, RB Leipzig.
They are now considering a late swoop for Solanke who has been in red-hot form this season, netting 14 goals in 24 appearances across all competitions this season.
The news comes after The Sun exclusively revealed that Tottenham were interested in signing the 26-year-old.
Newcastle United made an enquiry about Solanke’s availability earlier this month, which was rebuffed by Bournemouth. Similarly, West Ham’s interest in the player last summer was also rejected by the Cherries. However, Tottenham are now poised to challenge Bournemouth’s stance in the next two days.
To secure Solanke’s services, The Sun reports that it would require a monumental bid from Tottenham, potentially exceeding £50 million. Sources indicate that Spurs are prepared to pursue a deal of this magnitude before the transfer window closes on Thursday.
Bournemouth are now searching for possible replacements in the French and Belgian leagues in case a significant offer for the former Chelsea and Liverpool ace comes in.

Tottenham are looking to revive their League form, having dropped from the top four following a series of poor results. They now appear to have picked momentum with key players including Christian Romero, Donny van de Ven and James Maddison all returning to the side after facing lengthy spells on the sidelines.
They are also keen on bolstering their ranks and the attack is of particular interest to Postecoglou who favours an attacking style of play.
