“Talks advancing between West Ham United and Nordsjaelland over the signing of winger Ibrahim Osman. Fee understood to be in the region of £15m,” wrote Sheth on X.
Brentford and Brighton have also shown interest in the player but it appears that the Hammers have won the race.
The 19-year-old is a product of the Right to Dream Academy in Ghana, the same academy that produced Mohamed Kudus.
More signings
Osman is not the only player who is expected to join the London outfit in the January window.
According to widespread reports, the Hammers are close to signing Manchester City midfielder Kalvin Phillips on loan for the rest of the season.
The two clubs were close to an agreement for the England midfielder who was also linked with a move to Newcastle this month. David Moyes is a big fan of the player, and now a deal has been reached.
According to Sky Sports, the player will undergo his medical at West Ham in the next 24 hours and it is hoped the deal can be completed by the weekend.
It will be a loan move for Phillips until the end of the season with the Hammers having the option to buy in the summer.
West Ham play Bournemouth in the Premier League next Thursday.
