West Ham are in talks to sign Nordsjælland winger and “discussions are ongoing”, according to Ben Jacobs.
The Hammers are looking to add a few players before the end of the transfer window, and are close to signing Kalvin Phillips from Manchester City.
Jacobs says that “talks are moving pretty fast” to sign the highly-rated 19-year-old winger. West Ham have had a bid rejected already, in the region of €16m plus add-ons. However, they are now in talks over an improved deal, thought to be around the €18-19m mark with add-ons.

More signings?
Phillips is undergoing his medical at West Ham, and he will join on loan for the rest of the season. The Hammers can also discuss about signing him permanently next summer if everything goes well.
However, they need a solid striker in their ranks following to injury to Michail Antonio. Osman is not an out-an-out striker but he will add depth in the attacking areas.
It will be interesting to see if the Hammers still make a move for a striker this month, with Armando Broja being heavily linked with a move. However, they are not willing to meet Chelsea’s asking price at the moment, but would be willing to take him on loan if the Blues allow him to leave.
Brentford and Brighton have also shown interest in the player as it stands, the Hammers are progressing well to win the race for his signature.
