Arsenal kept the pressure on Liverpool at the top after picking up a thumping 5-0 win against Burnley in the Premier League on Saturday (17 February).
The Gunners needed to respond after Liverpool picked up a 4-1 win against Brentford. They did it in some style as they closed the gap at the top of the table to just two points.
Last week, they dismantled West Ham 6-0, and now they thrashed Burnley with another strong performance. Skipper Martin Odegaard opened the scoring for the Gunners, Bukayo Saka scored twice while Leandro Trossard and Kai Havertz also scored at Turf Moor.
Saka has been in terrific form having managed 7 goals and 1 assist in his last 6 Premier League games. He took to Instagram after the game to share his reaction.
The England international wrote: “5 stars from the boys today! We enjoyed that one, hope you did too Gooners!”

Last season, the Gunners challenged Manchester City but they fizzled out towards the end. This time, with more experience and better quality, they are expected to stay in the hunt until the end of the season.
It could be a fascinating three-horse title race, and it’s hard to predict how the league will pan out. Considering the form they are showing at the moment, the league could be decided by results among big teams.
Saka has been sensational once again for the Gunners. Last season, he scored 15 goals in all competitions. This season, he has already touched those scoring feet, and unless there’s a major dip in form, he should be able to score loads of goals.
The 22-year-old has also managed 11 assists in all competitions for the Gunners this season. He is a key player for Mikel Arteta and rightly deserves rich praise for his performances.
