Sky Sports pundit raves about Liverpool defender Conor Bradley

Liverpool youngster Conor Bradley has been a revelation under Jurgen Klopp this season and he is earning rave reviews from all corners.

The 20-year-old has come into the senior side in the absence of Trent Alexander-Arnold, and he has produced some cracking displays already.

Tony Cascarino showered huge praise on him recently and now Craig Dawson said on Sky Sports that the youngster has been “absolutely magnificent” this season.

Bradley has managed one goal and three assists in four Premier League starts this season, and he is such an exciting player to watch. He is solid defensively and is equally brilliant in attack, and Dawson has rightly said that he makes the right decision most of the time.

The youngster was outstanding in the 4-1 win against Chelsea where he scored one and provided two assists. Unfortunately, his father passed away and he was given a compassionate leave.

After returning to the side, he has continued his impressive form and produced back-to-back strong performances against Brentford and Luton Town.

What Craig Dawson has said about Bradley on Sky Sports

“Since Conor Bradley has come in, he has been absolutely magnificent,” said Dawson.

“Would he get the opportunity if Trent hadn’t got injured? I didn’t see happening but wow, he certainly grabbed it with both hands.

“He is such a young player. Makes the right decision more times in a game.”

Bradley is a terrific talent for Liverpool

This season, Liverpool have coped with injury problems by throwing young players into the mix. Klopp has never hesistated fielding young players if he is good enough.

Jarrell Quansah took his chances in the absence of Joel Matip and he has played regularly this season. Likewise, Bradley got the opportunity after Trent got injured, and he has been terrific for the club.

Klopp may have a selection dilemma when Trent returns, but the Reds boss will find a way to incorporate both of them.

What has impressed everyone most was the character shown by Bradley. Despite a heavy personal loss, he didn’t let it affect his game. He is mentally so strong and focussed, and that’s why there are suggestions that he could replace Trent at right-back in the future.

Liverpool will face Chelsea in the Carabao Cup final on Sunday (25 February) at Wembley and Bradley is expected to start.
