View: Tottenham Hotspur should go for once-linked Wolves hitman Hwang Hee-chan in the summer, he has best conversion rate in EPL right now

Tottenham Hotspur are yet to replace Harry Kane after the England international striker left for Bayern Munich in the summer, and they have been linked with a couple of transfer targets since then.

Son Heung-Min and Richarlison have been impressive in front of goal so far this term, with 22 Premier League goals between them, but a traditional number 9 capable of delivering the goods is what manager Ange Postecoglou is currently missing, and one of Spurs’ transfer targets has been firing on all cylinders recently.

Tottenham were linked with Wolverhampton Wanderers forward Hwang Hee-chan last summer, and while a move did not materialise, they were linked again during the January transfer window.

The South Korean ended his first two seasons in the Premier League with eight league goals but has been on fire this term, with ten goals to his name in 20 league appearances.

As a matter of fact, Hwang has the best conversion rate (28.6%) in the Premier League this season (30+ shots), and having such a player in their attacking ranks will help make Tottenham serious title challengers.

Once dubbed a ‘dangerous player’ by Premier League legend Kevin Campbell, the former RB Leipzig star has what it takes to improve the Spurs attack, and his ability to play on both wings and even behind the striker is an added advantage.

The 28-year-old is also a speedster, and having him, Richarlison and Son in front will make Tottenham a serious force to reckon with in the final third.

Wolves were open to selling the South Korean international in the summer due to Financial Fair Play concerns, and while that is no longer the case, a juicy offer could still tempt them into doing business next summer, and he is a player Spurs should be looking at if they are serious about becoming regular Premier League challengers.
