Conor Bradley has shared who is the best free-kick taker in the current Liverpool squad.
The young right-back says that Trent Alexander-Arnold and Dominik Szoboszlai are both very good at taking free-kicks, but the Hungarian midfielder is slightly better.
During the summer transfer window, Liverpool sold two key midfielders, Fabinho and Jordan Henderson, while Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Naby Keita left the club for free following the expiry of their contracts.
The midfield needed a complete revamp, and Jurgen Klopp signed Alexis Mac Allister, Ryan Gravenberch, Wataru Endo and Szoboszlai to fill the void.
Szoboszlai didn’t take much time to settle down at his new club, and he has already proved to be an astute signing. Bradley suggests that the 23-year-old midfielder can take knuckle-ball free-kicks which Cristiano Ronaldo expertly does.

“I think Dom [Dominik Szoboszlai],” said Bradley when asked who is the best free-kick taker in the side, in an interview with the Premier League.
“It’s between him and Trent, but just the way Dom hits the ball – I’ve never seen before. It’s a bit Ronaldo-esque, where it’s just knuckleballs.”
Szoboszlai has been a terrific signing for the club. He has scored three goals in the Premier League and has provided two assists in 21 starts. He has also scored two goals in the League Cup and two more in the Europa League as well.
Szoboszlai has this great ability to hit the ball from a distance and manages to keep it on target most of the time. However, Trent is something special and what he has achieved as a right-back is unthinkable.
He has scored some breathtaking free-kicks for Liverpool over the years. Unlike Szoboszlai, Trent relies on bending the ball rather than hitting with power.
Trent is expected to return after the international break from his knee injury, and it will be interesting to see how Klopp uses him. Bradley has been magnificent in his absence at right-back, and Klopp could be tempted to continue with him, and use Trent in midfield instead.
