Crystal Palace face a massive rebuilding job in the summer transfer window irrespective of where they finish at the end of the season.
The Eagles are unlikely to get involved in a relegation battle this season, which means they can already start making their summer plans.
Oliver Glasner should be backed in the summer transfer window, but the new manager could find himself in an uncomfortable situation where he may have to offload some of his key players.
According to a report from The Telegraph, March Guehi is likely to leave the Eagles in the summer, and Palace are compiling a list of centre-back targets already to replace him.
The 23-year-old is a key player for Palace and he is drawing attention from heavyweight Premier League clubs including Manchester United and Liverpool.
Guehi joined in the summer of 2021 for a fee of £18m from Chelsea, and Palace are expected to demand a fee of more than £50m for him, which will be a club-record sale for them.

The central defender has been outstanding for the club over the past couple of years and he is now a regular player for the England national team as well.
He has managed 22 appearances in the Premier League this season. He has missed the last four games due to a knee problem and may miss upto eight weeks after undergoing surgery.
Guehi, however, is expected to fit in time for this summer’s European Championship. It will be a blow for the new manager to lose a key player like Guehi in the summer, as the defender probably won’t play enough games under him.
However, Glasner will have new ideas as well and would love to bring in players of his own choice. If Palace can get a fee of over £50m for him, they can utilise the money properly in adding depth in defence and other areas.
This could also be Palace’s last chance to sell him for a significant fee, and a move away from the club looks likely. The likes of Michael Olise and Eberechi Eze could be targeted by other top clubs in the Premier League as well.
