The complete takeover of Everton is hardly progressing and the Premier League are yet to come to a decision.
According to BBC Sport journalist, Simon Stone, Josh Wander was present in the FT Business of Football summit on Thursday, but he wasn’t interested in talking about the matter.
It was been reported elsewhere that the 777 Partners are getting “frustrated” at the moment with the delay from the Premier League, although they expect to hear some news from them this month.
There are suggestions that the Premier League couldn’t proceed beforehand because they were dealing with Everton’s appeal over point deduction, but now that is sorted, they can now look forward to other issues associated with the Toffees.
The potential new owners struck a new deal with Farhad Moshiri back in September and they should have received the confirmation by now. In contrast, Sir Jim Ratcliffe confirmed reaching an agreement with Manchester United on 24 December, and he has got his approval already.
“I have to admit, it has all gone very quiet. Josh Wander was at the FT Business of Football summit on Thursday and I did try to grab a word with him but he wasn’t so interested in talking,” wrote Stone on BBC Sport.
“Like everyone else, he is waiting for the Premier League to reach a decision. It has almost been forgotten that it was September when the deal with Farhad Moshiri was struck.”

Everton will soon face the second of hearing for breaching the PSR rule, but they now have clarity over the manner.
The frustration grows among the fans, both on and off the pitch. The Toffees are yet to win a single game in the Premier League in 2024, and they are dropping points at home.
They lost 3-1 against West Ham last week. The performance needs to improve and most importantly the results need to improve.
Sean Dyche has done incredibly well to get the best out of his players, but it seems he is running out of ideas at the moment.
The potential new owners will be hoping to get a positive reply from the Premier League this month, while fans will hope that Dyche will turn the situation around.
