Newcastle keen to sign ‘exciting’ Michael Olise

Newcastle United are looking to bolster their forward areas this summer, and they have come up with some transfer plans.

The Magpies are looking to do some early business, and they are close to completing some fantastic signings.

It has been reported that Newcastle are close to securing a deal for Fulham defender Tosin Adarabioyo on a free transfer, while also looking to secure the free signing of Llyod Kelly from AFC Bournemouth.

With two signings almost close to completion, Newcastle have set their sight on adding depth in their wide areas. According to a report from The Telegraph, signing a right winger is Newcastle’s top priority this summer.

Eddie Howe’s side are may need to offload a few players to fund moves for fresh arrivals. Miguel Almiron could be sold if Newcastle receive a good offer, and his potential departure could pave the way for a new attacker.

Writing on their website, the newspaper claims that the Magpies are interested in signing Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise, but there is competition for his signature. The club fear they will miss out on the “exciting” 22-year-old, with Manchester United in the frame for his signature.

Newcastle United targets for the summer window

Olise would be a cracking signing for the Magpies. He struggled with injuries last season, but he is a quality winger who will add significant depth to the side. The Eagles, however, are reluctant to sell him.

Apart from Olise, the Magpies also intend to make a move for West Ham forward Jarrod Bowen who could be tempted to leave the London Stadium following the exit of David Moyes.

Newcastle are also looking to add a new striker, and Dominic Calvert-Lewin emerges as a major target for them. They are also looking to add a new goalkeeper and Valencia’s Giorgi Mamardashvili has been linked with a move.
