Aston Villa are reportedly prepared to sell Matty Cash this summer amid transfer interest from AC Milan.
However, they are demanding a £17 million fee for the 26-year-old and will not consider offers below that, per Calciomercato.com.
Villa have seen a huge turnaround in their fortunes since Unai Emery took charge of the club in November 2022.
The Spaniard guided the Midlands outfit to a fourth-placed Premier League finish, something that looked impossible at the start of the season.
But despite the riches of the Champions League, they are said to be tight on PSR and so they will look to sell before bringing in new players in the summer window.
Matty Cash came to Villa Park in 2020 from Nottingham Forest and has been an important member of the Lions’ first-team.
He has made 142 appearances across all competitions for the Midlands side, scoring nine goals and creating 10 assists in the process.
Cash, who has also earned 15 caps for Poland, played an instrumental role in helping his team qualify for the Champions League last term. He started 23 Premier League matches, registering four goal contributions.
But Villa are said to be ready to cash in on the right-back despite his contract expiring in 2027.
