Everton target Armando Broja keen to join AC Milan

Everton could miss out on signing Chelsea striker Armando Broja this summer.

According to a report from Express Sport, the Toffees are showing keen interest in signing the 22-year-old striker who is likely to be sold by Chelsea.

The Blues value him at around £30 million and he has no shortage of admirers. Wolves and Stuttgart are interested in him, but it appears AC Milan are leading the chase at the moment.

The offer from Milan is “enticing”, and Broja is now “ready to ditch” the Premier League for an overseas adventure this summer.

Everton began pushing for a move for Broja at the start of the month; they needed to offload a few players to fund the move for his signing.

Broja is now all set to leave Chelsea after failing to make his mark in the first team on a consistent basis. He impressed on loan spells elsewhere but hasn’t really lived up to the expectations at Stamford Bridge.

Everton likely to miss out on Broja

The Toffees have long retained an interest in the Albania striker, and have kept him in their priority list of targets for the summer window.

Everton have been active in the summer window so far and have completed two signings already. They are also close to securing the signing of Marseille attacking midfielder Iliman Ndiaye, who has agreed a five-year deal to move to Goodison Park.

Everton had a chance to cash in on Dominic Calvert-Lewin when Newcastle stepped up their interest, but they refused to lower their asking price. Had the deal gone through, they could have used the money to sign Broja.

Having said that, AC Milan have yet to agree a deal for the striker, and the Toffees can still make a late move to turn his head around.
