West Ham are looking to bolster their full-back areas this summer, and they have joined the race to sign Saud Abdulhamid.
According to Guardian journalist, Will Unwin, who posted on his personal X account on 15 June, the Hammers are in the hunt to sign the Al-Hilal and Saudi Arabia right-back.
Premier League rivals Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest are also interested while French club Nice are also keen. Toulouse have already submitted an offer to sign the defender, who has made 36 appearances for his country.
The 24-year-old defender would cost around £3 million, and West Ham must submit a tempting bid and secure his signature as soon as possible.
Ben Johnson has been offered a lucrative deal to stay at the club, but irrespective of his decision, the Hammers must bring in a new right-back in the summer.
It is really unthinkable that a defender who is a regular for his country and has made 210 appearances, is available at a measly fee.
While he has not played outside of Saudi Arabia, his experience makes him a worthy candidate. He could provide a great cover at the right back.
If Johnson leaves the club this summer, a new signing is needed, and Abdulhamid could be a valuable addition.

West Ham boss Julen Lopetegui is eyeing to bring at least five or six new players in the summer transfer window.
The Hammers have already signed Brazil youngster Luis Guilherme, and more signings are expected to follow. If Lopetegui can sign Abdulhamid at a small fee, it would represent a masterstroke piece of business.
First of all, it would be risk-free. Even if he turns out to be a flop, no Premier League club would mind the loss, considering the small fee paid for him.
However, if he turns out to be a reliable squad player, the credit would go to the club for taking the bold move to sign him in the first place.
West Ham must blow other Premier League rivals out of the water and complete the deal as soon as possible.
