Jadon Sancho returns to Man Utd training after positive talks with Ten Hag

Jadon Sancho has reportedly returned to Manchester United training after holding positive talks with Erik ten Hag.

The 24-year-old hasn’t played for the Red Devils since August after he posted a controversial tweet criticising the Dutch boss.

He was sent out on loan to Borussia Dortmund in January, where he greatly impressed with his performances in the Bundesliga and Champions League.

The England international’s return to Old Trafford was thought to be unlikely due to his relationship with Ten Hag, who survived in his role after leading the team to FA Cup glory in May.

However, in a big twist, the two have held a face to face meeting this week and they have clarified the situation, according to Fabrizio Romano

It is said that both Sancho and Ten Hag have agreed to draw a line on their disagreement and move on.

Good news

Sancho joined Manchester United in a £73 million move in 2021 but has failed to justify his enormous price-tag.

In 82 appearances across all competitions, he has registered 12 goals and six assists only.

However, the 24-year-old showed his great talent during the loan stint at Dortmund as he helped the Germans to the Champions League final.

Sancho was likely to be sold this summer amid interest from several big clubs, but it is good news that he is now set to stay in Manchester after positive talks with Ten Hag.

His confidence is likely to be very high after playing in the Champions League final, and he could be an important player for United in 2024-25.
