Leeds United are eyeing a move for Sheffield United defender Jayden Bogle.
According to Nancy Froston of The Athletic, the Whites are interested in signing the 23-year-old right back this summer.
Leeds signed Connor Roberts on loan from Burnley in the January transfer window, but they are unlikely to sign him permanently.
Archie Gray, who played at right-back under Daniel Farke, also left the club to join Tottenham Hotspur for a fee of £40 million.
This means that signing a new right-back is a priority for the Whites, and they have earmarked Bogle as a potential option.
Bogle has only a year left on his current contract at Bramall Lane, and he could be available at a decent price.
The 23-year-old started his playing career with Derby County and has made 193 appearances for both the Rams and Sheffield United to date, collecting experience playing both in the Championship and the Premiership.
He played 34 times in the Premier League last season and could be a good signing for the Whites.
Major summer rebuilding at Leeds United
Leeds are paying the price for failing to secure a promotion to the Premier League last season.
They have already sold Gray and could be forced to offload players like Crysencio Summerville and Wilfried Gnonto.
Losing key players will be a big blow to the club, but at the same time, they would fetch a lot of money, and the Whites should be able to rebuild the team with quality signings.
Bogle has loads of experience already, and his best years are ahead of him. If the club gets him a decent price, he could be seen as a smart signing.
Meanwhile, Leeds midfielder Glen Kamara is on his way out to join Rennes. The midfielder only joined last summer from Rangers, but Leeds have decided to sell him on a profit.
If Bogle joins Elland Road, he will become Leeds’s fourth signing, following the arrivals of Joe Rothwell, Alex Cairns, and Joe Rodon.
