Liverpool are one of the clubs keen to sign Borussia Dortmund winger Karim Adeyemi.
According to Sky Germany journalist, Patrick Berger, the Reds are among clubs to sign the German winger.
The Reds have been very quiet so far in the transfer window, but Richard Hughes recently admitted that the club will jump at the opportunity to sign any player who matches their criteria and is available at the right price.
Liverpool has loads of quality in the attacking areas, but adding a new winger will not harm the side, especially with Luis Diaz’s future heavily linked with a move away from the club.
The 22-year-old is also being chased by Chelsea, AC Milan, and Juventus, but nothing concrete has been revealed so far.
Borussia Dortmund are ready to sell the player if a top offer comes in for Adeyemi.
Liverpool meanwhile are close to signing young talent Rio Ngumoha, who is ready to complete his move to Anfield.
Adeyemi is seen as one of the top talents in Germany, and he has four caps for his country as well. He started his youth career with Red Bull Salzburg and then moved to Dortmund in the summer of 2022.
He is still far from the finished product, but if Liverpool make a move for him, he could become a top-quality attacker under Arne Slot.
The Reds probably should look to sign a new centre-back this summer, but Slot still has enough options with him.
Meanwhile, Nathaniel Phillips is likely to be sold in the summer transfer window and several clubs are showing interest. He has only a year left on his current deal at Anfield and not in the manager’s plans.
