Manchester United could sign Juventus winger Federico Chiesa this summer

Manchester United have been linked with a move for Juventus forward Federico Chiesa.

The 26-year-old joined the Old Lady in the summer of 2020 and has since made 131 appearances across all competitions, scoring 32 goals in the process.

He started 25 Serie A matches last season but Juve are said to be open to letting him leave in the summer transfer window.

They should ‘look out for Manchester United’ who could lodge a bid for the Italy international.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, the Bianconeri want to secure the services of Jadon Sancho who impressed with his displays during his loan stint at Borussia Dortmund.

The Serie A giants are reportedly ready to offer Chiesa, who has been called ‘world class’ by ex-Italy defender Alessandro Pierini, to the Red Devils in a swap deal involving Sancho.

But recent development suggests the 24-year-old will stay at Old Trafford beyond the summer.

The England international fell out with Erik ten Hag after his controversial post criticising the manager.

He was sent out on loan to Borussia Dortmund in January, where he greatly impressed with his performances in the Bundesliga and Champions League.

Recent reports claim the 24-year-old has held positive face-to-face talks with Ten Hag and they have clarified the situation.

Therefore, it is more likely now Sancho will not be sold and so United will not make a move for Chiesa.
