Most expensive & most affordable season tickets in Europe’s top-five leagues

Arsenal have the most expensive adult season tickets in European football for the upcoming season.

The Gunners increased their ticket price by 10% for the 2024/25 campaign and fans will need to spend £1,073 for 19 Premier League and 4 Champions League games at the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal’s season ticket now costs six times more than Bayer Leverkusen, who won the Bundesliga title for the first time in their history while staying unbeaten over the whole domestic season.

London counterparts Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea come second and third with £856 and £810 respectively. Liverpool (£713) and Newcastle United (£662) make the top-five for the most expensive season tickets in Europe.

Aston Villa (£640), Bournemouth (£633), Fulham (£619), Brighton & Hove Albion (£595) and Manchester United (£579) finish the top 10. Champions Manchester City have one of the most affordable tickets in the Premier League at £425.

Outside of the Premier League, Real Betis have the most expensive adult season tickets at £447 for the 2024/25 season. In comparison, Real Madrid fans can watch Kylian Mbappe and Jude Bellingham in action for 80 percent less (£249).

When it comes to the cheapest tickets, there is a surprise in the form of Stade Brestois 29. The Ligue 1 outfit beat the odds to qualify for the Champions League last season. They finished an impressive third in the French top-flight ahead of Lille.

Despite the unexpected success, Brest have the most affordable ticket in Europe’s top-five leagues. Their fans will get to watch some of the world’s best players at the Stade Francis Le Ble for an adult season ticket of only £42.

Alongside Brest, La Liga club Osasuna also charge £42 for their home games. Hellas Verona (£59), Le Havre (£101), Montpellier (£110), Hoffenheim (£126), Wolfsburg (£135), Angers (£143), Bayern Munich (£143), Heidenheim (£147) make the top 10.
