Wan-Bissaka’s exit will see Manchester United proceed with move for Mazraoui

West Ham United are reportedly close to agreeing a deal with Manchester United for Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

The 26-year-old was an important member of Erik ten Hag’s first-team last season but with a year left on his contract, the Red Devils are ready to cash in on him this summer.

The Hammers have been in the market for a new right-back after academy graduate Ben Johnson left at the end of his contract last month.

West Ham are interested in signing Wan-Bissaka and latest reports suggest they are nearing an agreement.

According to Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth, Wan-Bissaka’s exit will see United proceed with their move for Noussair Mazraoui.

They have already agreed a fee with Bayern Munich who are ready to sanction an exit despite the player’s contract not expiring until 2026.

The Bundesliga giants are looking to offload players to make space in their squad for new recruits.

They are also in negotiations with Manchester United over a move for Matthijs de Ligt

Erik ten Hag’s side have already signed Leny Yoro but further reinforcements are needed in central defence.

Everton are reluctant to sell Jarrad Branthwaite, and so they are focusing their attention on De Ligt.

They have already agreed personal terms with the 24-year-old but the two clubs still have to close a gap in valuation of the player.
