West Ham want to sign Galatasaray attacker Baris Alper Yilmaz

West Ham are interested in bolstering their attacking areas, and they have been checking on several options.

The Hammers are working on several deals at the moment, with adding a new striker and a new right-back are their top priorities.

West Ham have been showing keen interest in signing Borussia Dortmund attacker Niclas Fullkrug and have been in talks to bring him on board.

At the same time, the Hammers are also close to signing Manchester United defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka but they have not reached an agreement for the player as yet.

And now it seems West Ham are working to sign a new winger as well.

West Ham want to sign Galatasaray attacker Baris Alper Yilmaz

The Hammers have been linked with a move for Galatasaray winger Baris Alper Yilmaz this summer.

According to a report from Fotospor, the agent of the 24-year-old winger has met with West Ham in London to hold transfer talks over a potential move.

The Hammers could face competition from Premier League rivals Liverpool who are also keen to land him.

Yilmaz was one of the star performers for Turkey during the Euro 2024 Championships, and West Ham are ready to pay a huge fee to sign him.

He scored seven goals in 28 games for Gala in the Super Lig last season and a host of Premier League clubs such as Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are vying for his signature.

West Ham need to secure signings quickly

The Hammers have already signed Luis Guilherme from Brazilian club Palmeiras in the summer window and they have enough depth and quality in their attacking wide areas.

That being said, there is always room for quality players on the side, and Yilmaz would be a smart addition to the side. But West Ham have other priorities right now, and they need to sort those out before moving on to other targets.

Yimaz would easily cost over £30 million, and doubts remain whether the Hammers would be willing to pay that.
