Chelsea open to selling Armando Broja amid interest from Juventus

Chelsea are reportedly keen to sell Armando Broja in the current summer transfer window.

The 22-year-old has struggled to establish himself in the Blues’ first-team since making his competitive debut in 2020.

He was sent out on loan to Fulham for the second-half of the 2023-24 campaign, where he featured in eight Premier League games and contributed an assist.

Despite his struggles in London, Broja is attracting interest from the Serie A.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus are eyeing a move for Broja as they aim to bolster their attack for the 2024-25 season.

The Old Lady have lost Moise Kean to Fiorentina and so they are in the market for a new centre-forward.

Broja is said to be one of the options they are thinking about signing this summer.

Chelsea haven’t yet received a concrete offer for the 22-year-old but they are actively looking to sell him.

Enzo Maresca’s side already have Nicolas Jackson and Christopher Nkunku on their books. But they want to add another top-class striker to their ranks.

The Blues have been attempting to sign Victor Osimhen who is widely expected to leave Napoli in the ongoing transfer window.

They are pursuing a swap deal involving Osimhen and Romelu Lukaku, but it remains to be seen whether the Nigerian would be interested in joining the Londoners.

Chelsea finished sixth in the Premier League last season, and so they will not be playing in the Champions League in 2024-25.
