Leeds United find themselves in an interesting situation ahead of the new Championship season.
The Whites narrowly missed out on promotion last season and they will be raring to go again this time to secure promotion to the Premier League.
They were expected to receive bids for some of their top players, and they sold a host of players this summer already.
The likes of Marc Roca and Diego Llorente were expected to leave, but the Whites will be hurt by the departures of Archie Gray and Crysencio Summerville.
On the positives, they have the money to sign quality players and Daniel Farke must bring in new players who can add tremendous depth and quality.
Adding a new attacking midfielder or wide forward is key for the Whites, and they will have to look to bring in one or two players within the next few days.
Leeds United receive boost in signing new winger
According to journalist Alan Nixon, the Whites are one of the clubs showing keen interest in signing Crystal Palace winger Jesurun Rak-Sakyi.
The Sun journalist reported via his Patreon page (4 August) that a host of clubs, including Sheffield United, Hull City, QPR, Watford, and Leeds, are also competing to sign the 21-year-old right winger.
The young winger has been told by the Eagles that he can leave Selhurst Park on loan to play regularly elsewhere, and the news will come as a huge boost for the Whites.
Leeds do have Georginio Rutter, Wilfried Gnonto and Dan James as their main attacking options but another attacker is required following the departure of Summerville.
Rak-Sakyi is not an experienced attacker, but he has shown quality for Palace. Leeds probably need someone who can start games week in week out and hopefully they can beat other clubs to secure the winger’s signature.
