It is said that all parties want to complete the deal this week. The 23-year-old would stay at Valencia on loan for another season before joining the Merseyside giants next summer.
Mamardashvili was one of the key players for Georgia at the 2024 European Championship. He started all four games for the national side as they made it to the last 16 of the competition in Germany.
The young goalkeeper also featured in 37 La Liga matches for Los Ches last season, helping his team finish ninth in the league.
Liverpool have Alisson Becker as their number one goalie but the Brazilian has reached the age of 31.
He is contracted at Anfield until 2027 but is said to be a target for the Saudi Pro League.
