Liverpool want to sign Bayern Munich star Kingsley Coman

Liverpool are yet to make a signing this summer despite only a few days remaining in the transfer window.

However, the Reds are set to announce the arrival of Georgian goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili soon as they have reached an agreement with Valencia.

The Premier League giants could make more additions over the coming days as they are being linked with several quality players.

According to journalist Nabil Djellit, Liverpool are interested in signing Bayern Munich star Kingsley Coman.

This comes after a report from L’Equipe claimed Coman has decided to leave the Bavarians in the ongoing transfer window.

Manchester City, Arsenal and Barcelona are said to be interested in signing the 28-year-old, who has won 12 league titles in his career with Bayern, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain.

Coman has a contract at the Allianz Stadium until 2027 and so he is unlikely to leave for a cut-price deal.

The France international has been one of the most important players for the Bundesliga giants as he has made 296 senior appearances and scored 64 goals.

However, he missed a major portion of last season due to injuries and was limited to just 15 league starts.

Coman could be an excellent acquisition for Arne Slot’s side as he boasts a lot of experience at the top level of football

But a deal for the 28-year-old is not expected to be easy as some of the top European clubs have been linked with an interest in him.

The Reds will likely have to come up with a huge offer to tempt Bayern into selling their star player this summer.
