Manchester United have reportedly reached an agreement to sign Bayern Munich stars Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui.
According to Fabrizio Romano, medical tests have been booked for both players and they hope to complete the two signings in the next 24 hours.
The club are set to fork out €45 million plus €5m in add-ons for De Ligt who will pen an initial five-year contract.
Meanwhile, Mazraoui is set to arrive at Old Trafford in a separate move worth up to €20 million.
But they will need to offload right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka first before completing the proposed transfer.
The Red Devils are said to be in advanced negotiations with West Ham United who have agreed to pay £15m for Wan-Bissaka.
Exciting signings
Manchester United have already completed the signings of Leny Yoro and Joshua Zirkzee in the ongoing transfer window.
And now they are on the verge of making two more exciting additions to the squad.
De Ligt boasts a lot of experience at the top level of football, having played for clubs like Ajax, Juventus and Bayern.
Despite injuries, he featured in 22 Bundesliga matches and six Champions League games last season, with three goal contributions to his name.
He averaged 2.4 clearances, 3.3 ball recoveries and 0.9 interceptions per game in the German top-flight, boasting an excellent 94 percent passing.
Meanwhile, Mazraoui is also a quality addition who is highly rated for his passing, tackling and ball interception skills.
Ten Hag knows the player well and he has the added advantage of being fairly comfortable playing in numerous positions.
