Chris Sutton asks Celtic fans to stop doing the huddle when Barry Ferguson is at Parkhead

Celtic legend Chris Sutton has mocked Rangers hero Barry Ferguson after the former Light Blues star claimed the Hoops faithful hurt him at Parkhead on Sunday.

Celtic strolled to a 3-0 victory against their bitter rivals, and the fans started doing the huddle in the stands, while those close to Ferguson laughed at his face.

The former Scotland international wrote a column after watching Rangers fall to the Bhoys, and Sutton took to X (formerly Twitter) to send a message to the Celtic supporters and indirectly mock Ferguson.

Rangers could not lay a glove on Celtic at Parkhead, and they could have conceded more had the Hoops made most of their opportunities in front of goal.

The Bhoys have won nine of the last 12 meetings between the Old Firm rivals, losing just once, and landing a fourth consecutive Scottish Premiership title this term looks very much on the cards.

Celtic have won ten of the last 11 league titles in the Scottish top-flight after the SPL and SFL merged in 2013 to form the Scottish Professional Football League, with Rangers winning just once, and the Hoops will be looking to equal Rangers’ record of 55 titles this term.

The gulf in quality between both squads was evident on Sunday, and the Bears could struggle to stop Celtic from strolling to the domestic treble this term.

Brendan Rodgers and his side are clear favourites to win it all in Scotland this season, and Rangers do not have what it takes to challenge them right now.
