Leeds United defender Max Wober could leave Elland Road in the next 48 hours with Turkish club Galatasaray reportedly keen to sign him.
While the transfer window is closed in Europe’s top five leagues, it is still open in Turkey, who can sign players until Friday.
The Whites defender spent the last season on loan at Borussia Monchengladbach, but he returned to Leeds for the 2024-25 campaign.
It was speculated that Wober would return to Germany, but that didn’t happen.
According to Taxvim, Galatasaray are looking to sign the 26-year-old before the 13 September deadline.
They are looking to sign a new left-back and have earmarked the Austrian, who could be allowed to leave.

Wober can play as a central defender as well as a left-back, but he is not in the immediate first-team plans of Daniel Farke.
The Austrian international previously stated his desire to fight for his place at Elland Road, but he might change his decision if an offer comes to him.
He has yet to play a game in the Championship under Farke this season, and he would be looking to join a club where he would get regular game time. At Leeds, it looks difficult for him, as he is way down the pecking order.
Wober has a contract at Elland Road until 2027, and Leeds have a good chance of getting some money from his sale, which they can utilise in the January window.
So far, he has only made the bench in three games in the league, but Farke didn’t give him a chance in the first-team as yet.
He was signed by Jesse Marsch when Leeds were in the Premier League, but he hasn’t been able to make a big impact at Elland Road.
Having said that, the Whites should not send him out on loan, as they need depth in the squad in a long season.
