Liverpool have been handed a huge injury boost as the knock Argentina international midfielder Alexis Mac Allister sustained last week is not serious or worrying, and he is travelling with the squad to Colombia for their game on Tuesday, according to TyC Sports journalist Gaston Edul.
Edul reported a couple of days ago that the Liverpool star had a problem with his adductor muscle and would train separately from the rest of the Argentina squad until Tuesday to be ready for the match against Colombia.
However, the former Brighton & Hove Albion star has regained full fitness and is ready for the next game, with Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano taking to X (formerly Twitter) to confirm the huge update.
Nico González y Alexis Mac Allister viajan a Colombia.
González se entrenó diferenciado pero no tiene dolores y va a poder participar del partido.
Scaloni confirmó lo que se preveía: la Finalissima va a ser en 2026. No hay lugar en el calendario de 2025. Sería en marzo.

Mac Allister scored the opener for the South Americans in their 3-0 victory over Chile in their CONMEBOL qualification for the 2026 World Cup on Friday.
However, the 25-year-old was taken off in the 79th minute and doubts emerged over whether he would be available to play their eighth game of the qualifiers.
Liverpool return to action on September 14 when they face Nottingham Forest in their fourth Premier League game of 2024-25 before travelling to face AC Milan in their Champions League opener three days later, and manager Arne Slot will be pleased to hear Mac Allister is fit as a fiddle after the injury scare.
He is one of the five players at the Anfield club to have played every minute of the league campaign so far this term, and they need him available for every game as the new boss looks to impress in his debut campaign.
Liverpool are only behind league leaders Manchester City due to an inferior goal difference, and will be desperate to remain in the title race for as long as possible to give themselves a realistic chance of winning their second Premier League title under the new format that started in 1992.
