National media blown away by Liverpool defender Conor Bradley

Liverpool defender Conor Bradley impressed heavily as Northern Ireland won 2-0 against Luxembourg in the Nations League win on Thursday (5 September).

The 21-year-old defender started the game for his country and played the entire 90 minutes, producing a fabulous performance.

Bradley has managed only 44 minutes of Premier League action this season, with Arne Slot bringing in all three games from the bench.

Last season, the young right-back made a strong impact for the Reds under Jurgen Klopp, especially when Trent Alexander-Arnold got injured.

Liverpool midfielder Alexis Mac Allister also produced a masterclass performance for Argentina and Slot will be very happy with Bradley’s effort as well.

The national newspaper of Northern Ireland, Belfast Telegraph, has shared the player ratings, and they have given Bradley a 9/10 for his tremendous effort.

They observed that Bradley, who was playing in a slightly offensive right-sided role, was at the “heart of everything” Northern Ireland attempted going forward.

Belfast Telegraph wrote: “Playing in a more offensive right sided role, the Liverpool star was at the heart of everything Northern Ireland attempted going forward.

“Drove the team on and led by example. Could have added a third goal during a 65th minute breakaway.”

Trent is always going to be the first-choice option for any manager, and Slot will be more than pleased to have Bradley as a quality back-up option.

The young defender has been involved in all matches so far, which means Slot not only wants to keep the dressing room happy but he keeps the players involved.

Bradley is in a fantastic physical condition, and he will get more opportunities this season. Slot will look to rotate the squad to keep everyone fresh, and Bradley is expected to get regular game time.

The Northern Ireland defender is probably more solid at the back compared to Trent, and he is equally brilliant going forward. Bradley is enjoying his football at the moment, and he would be aiming to continue the form for his club.
