Popular pundit predicts scoreline of Celtic clash v St Johnstone

Celtic will travel to McDiarmid Park on Saturday (28 September) to face St Johnstone in the Scottish Premiership.

The Hoops are simply unstoppable at the moment, having won all eight games this season and maintaining an enviable consistency.

Brendan Rodgers’s side are bubbling with confidence at the moment, having picked up five wins in the Scottish Premiership.

Celtic are heading into this game on the back of a 5-2 win against Falkirk, and prior to that, they earned a stunning 5-1 win over Bratislava.

Tam McManus, the popular football pundit, has predicted a 3-0 win for Celtic against St Johnstone on Saturday while speaking on PLZ Soccer.

He said: “I don’t see them getting anything off from Celtic. I think Celtic will be far too strong and win the game comfortably. 3-0.”

Celtic should win this comfortably

This has been an amazing start from Celtic, and the players are really hungry to do well.

Despite the fact that they have been serial winners, what has been refreshing to see is that they are getting better with every game, and the confidence is overflowing at the moment.

This has happened because Rodgers has been able to freshen up the squad this summer. He has added several new faces to the squad and has made them competitive.

The victory in the opening game of the Champions League will have given them massive confidence as well. They are looking unbeatable at the moment and should pick up three points comfortably against St Johnstone.

McManus has rightly said that St Johnstone are struggling at the moment with just four points on board. They need to sign a good manager who can steady the ship at the moment, and on paper, they simply have no chance of beating the Bhoys.

It should be another routine victory for Celtic, but the scoreline could be different if they score early in the game.
