Crystal Palace will be looking to pick up their first win in the Premier League when they face Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday at Selhurst Park.
The Eagles have made the worst possible start to the season in their Premier League history, and Oliver Glasner is under pressure.
What has been really worrying is that Palace are failing to perform at home, and if this trend continues, Glasner will lose the dressing room.
He needs to do something to get the club back on track, but many pundits fear that they are moving on in the same cycles year after year.
Crystal Palace team news v Tottenham
Glasner has confirmed that the Eagles do not have any fresh injury concerns for this game. However, they are also not getting the injured players back.
That means Palace will have the same squad that faced against Nottingham Forest. The Eagles boss also added that Cheick Doucoure has returned to training, but he is not fit enough to face Spurs.
The 24-year-old defensive midfielder has struggled with injuries at Selhurst Park. He has made just three appearances in the Premier League this season, including one start.
Glasner said: “Cheick Doucouré has had just one training session with us this week, but it will still take time, so it is the same squad.”
Palace are also internally discussing whether Adam Wharton should undergo surgery as he strives to return to full fitness.
Big game for Crystal Palace
Simon Jordan said earlier that he doesn’t fancy Palace to win this game against Spurs but suggested that the Eagles must win games against teams that are struggling at the bottom, such as Wolves.
What has been really frustrating for the Palace fans is that the Eagles are showing dispirited performances at home. Nevertheless, this is another good opportunity for Palace to cut down on their errors and return to winning ways.
Palace, meanwhile, will be boosted by the news that Spurs will be without their talisman skipper, Son Heung-Min, for this game.
