West Ham United are considering former Borussia Dortmund manager Edin Terzic should they decide to part with manager Julen Lopetegui, according to Sky Sports Germany journalist Patrick Berger.
The 41-year-old has been out of job since leaving the Bundesliga club after leading them to the final of the Champions League last season, and he could return to England having been an assistant to Slaven Bilic at West Ham between 2015 and 2017.
AC Milan are also keen on Terzic, and the Hammers will need to act quickly if they want to recruit his services.

West Ham are 15th in the Premier League table after just two wins in their opening eight games, drawing two and losing the other four, and their Spanish manager is starting to come under pressure.
He could be fired if results do not change going forward, and the former Dortmund boss could be the perfect replacement for him.
Terzic won the German Cup in 2020-21 and has an incredible record with the Bundesliga club, winning 103 games of the 156 he managed across two spells, drawing 24 and losing the other 29.
West Ham are looking to finish in the top-seven this term after finishing ninth last term, but things have not been going according to plans and parting ways with Lopetegui cannot be ruled out.
Parting ways with David Moyes has not proven to be the wisest of decisions, and bringing him back could also be considered going forward.
West Ham may not be the only club looking for a new manager soon as the likes of Crystal Palace, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Southampton and Ipswich Town could also be considering changing their managers following a winless start to the 2024-25 Premier League campaign.
Their current form will be a source of worry to their decision-makers, and things have to improve significantly before the next international break if Lopetegui wants to hold on to his job.
