Eintracht Frankfurt striker Omar Marmoush dreams of joining Liverpool or Arsenal ahead of West Ham United

Eintracht Frankfurt striker Omar Marmoush dreams of joining Liverpool or Arsenal ahead of West Ham United, according to German journalist Christian Falk.

The 25-year-old Egyptian is the current highest goalscorer in the Bundesliga, with six goals and three assists to his name in five league appearances this season.

The Hammers have been linked with Marmoush, but he wants to join a bigger club, with Arsenal and Liverpool more appealing to him.

Frankfurt are not willing to sell the forward in January, but they have slammed a €40-50 million price tag on his head ahead of the next summer window.

Nottingham Forest tabled €30m for the Egyptian during the last summer transfer window while Fulham were once keen, but he has bigger plans and could get his wish if he keeps scoring at this rate.

Arsenal want a number 9 while Liverpool could also be in dire need of attacking reinforcements at the end of the season.

Mohamed Salah could move on as he is out of contract at the end of the season, and talks over a new deal have yet to start.

The Gunners could not sign a striker last summer but could be tempted to go for Marmoush if he ends up outscoring the likes of Harry Kane at the end of the season.

He bagged 12 league goals and six assists last term and is looking to prove himself and better that tally so as to earn a big move in the summer.

Marmoush has also scored a goal in two Europa League games this term and his good form is not likely to end anytime soon given his consistency in the early days of the 2024-25 campaign.

He will not be short of options in the summer if he keeps up his current form, but whether Arsenal or Liverpool will make any concrete move for him remains to be seen as he is not on their radar at the moment.
